A guided sandboarding session on the tall dunes of Erg Chebbi — boards, instruction and a 4x4 shuttle to the best slopes, timed for the cool of late afternoon.
Erg Chebbi's steep, soft faces are some of the best sandboarding terrain in Morocco. After a short lesson on a gentle slope, your guide takes you to the bigger dunes — there is no lift, so you earn each ride with a climb, which keeps the group small and the descents satisfying.
We run the session in the late afternoon when the sand has cooled and the light is at its best. Boards, basic wax and a guide are included, plus a 4x4 shuttle from Merzouga to the dunes and back. No experience is required, just a willingness to fall in soft sand and laugh about it.
